Fun at the bee

At our Bee meeting on Saturday afternoon we got to see some fantastic creations!  During show n tell, Charlene showed us a rail fence quilt, she found the pattern on the Missouri Quilts site.

The fabric really does make the quilt, and Charlene has a real knack for putting the right combinations together!

Yetunde showed us a clever pocket she made from recycled jeans...
Isn't that clever?  When she walks,if her walking pants don't have pockets she needed a place to carry her cell phone or whatever.

Emma's hand-pieced cobblestone quilt will be really pretty when she finishes it, with those ice-cream colors.
These are from a workshop I taught a few months ago - looking good!

After seeing the FQ bag from last month's meeting Carolyn couldn't resist making her own.  She brought one in to show us, then she sewed up another one during the meeting.

Those bags sew up really fast!

Sew forth adn sew on til later!

    1. I have some old jeans that I want to make something with; the problem is, they're not all the same weight.

    1. Thanks! Sometimes the things we work on are given to the recipient before the meeting; this way we can see what's going on with everybody.
